Symptoms contains photographs of discarded or lost medications, containers and other objects for medical use. What serves to relieve the symptoms of an ailment can in turn be interpreted as a symptom of that ailment. The images provide information about the different types and degrees of pain suffered by the people who live in the geographic area of the sampling, while the texts that accompany them guide the interpretation of these symptoms, although each reader can make their own diagnosis. All the photographs in the book were taken with the same mobile phone, between January 2017 and July 2018, in the city of A Coruña (except the last one, taken in Escras, Malpica de Bergantiños).
