TEIKOUKEI 鄭弘敬 - TAIPEI DULL SCENE 台北無聊風景
Born in 1983 in Taipei. He left for Japan in 2007 to learn photography and his work is based in Taipei now. His works mainly revolve around his place of residence and personal experiences. He has since published independent photography collections such as Fissures and You jun and Taipei Dull scene etc.
A series of works created out of the sense of discomfort Teikoukei felt in his stable, every day life. Teikoukei asked friends living in Taipei to recreate odd moments in their every day lives. Some of his subjects are people he met on the street. The images are a juxtaposition of Taiwanese culture and the endearing moments that we experience in our daily lives.
青年公園的傍晚可以看到收音機體操。
在中永和國宅裡偷鞋再拿去龍山寺賣給遊民。
西門町總是有人在路上抓鴿子。
在自由廣場常牽三隻大狗散步的軍服阿伯會講英文跟歐洲某國的語言。
在信義區可以看到彷彿是上個世紀的人也可以看到彷彿是下個世紀的人。
